Truth is, there may be some of us who still live with guilt, remorse, sorrow, and regret over things of the past. But, your past experiences don’t define who you are. Process the emotions and thoughts, find their roots, then release them in therapeutic ways as part of your journey of living and learning.
Today is a NEW DAY and we can move in a NEW WAY! Let's just say that for the things that are within our power to do, let's get to that "did".
Your 'did' doesn't have to be anything big.
Your 'did' can be simply showing up and being present. Your 'did' can be accepting and loving the skin you're in. Your 'did' could be taking time out for self-care because you're feeling exhausted and drained. Your 'did' can be writing down some actionable goals and making a step toward accomplishing them. Your 'did' can be forgiving yourself or forgiving others. Your 'did' can be telling those you care about that you love and appreciate the space they occupy in your life.
Here's the thing: I may have 99 problems but me missing out on my living dreams, enjoying life, showing up in the world authentically, making a difference, and also loving and being around people who love me ain't one, tuh!
Can we just agree to let the past be the past and bygones be bygones?
I want to see you healthy, whole, healed and receiving all the goodness, love and joy that life has to offer.
